Summer is nearly here which means the best concerts in America at Festival Hill
May 12th, 2010 8:35 PM

Don't miss out on a symphony experience that you'll be telling all your friends about in a small Texas town that will capture your heart.

We had the MOST beautiful spring I've ever experienced here, be sure and look at the photos, however, they don't do it justice.  Think about booking for next springs display for your wedding or retreat!

April 14th, 2010 2:36 PM
We are enjoying the most spectacular spring wildflowers we've ever seen at the Belle.  There are millions surrounding us with the Indian Paintbrush taking center stage.  Now is the perfect time to bring your friends & family to stay and take photos in front of the Belle!

Girlfriends Weekend Getaway
April 28th, 2009 3:49 PM
"The Belle of Round Top" is an "1880's Antebellum inspired Victorian Mansion" located on 15 acres of Texas countryside. It is surrounded by luscious gardens and is exquisitely furnished with period antiques. The moment you pass through the doors you are transformed back to a time of gracious living and made to feel like a queen.

During our last visit, we welcomed the morning by sitting on the veranda in our pj's while we sipped hot tea or coffee and listened to all the birds sing their morning songs. But I can't fail to mention the sweet potato waffles with maple nut syrup, thick sliced peppered bacon, and fruit compote (after all, this is a B&B!).
During the afternoon, we strolled around the little town of Round Top, and later, visited an antique rose market where we purchased roses to plant on Sunday (Mothers Day) in honor and remembrance of our mothers.
Evenings were spent dining out or enjoying a scrumptious country meal, lovingly prepared by everyone (did I mention that "The Belle" has a BIG kitchen). We laughed and shared memories of our lives while we drank our yummy peach iced tea and wine in the wicker rockers on the veranda.
Each day ended (with a hot cup of tea or a bowl of Blue Bell ice cream) to experience the famous Texas sunsets. We all woke up the next morning rested, refreshed and looking forward to doing it all again.
I fully guarantee that you will arrive with all the stress and burdens of your busy lives but you will leave a different person!!!
If you've been thinking you needed some time with people who really 'get who you are and support you', this is the place! You will not regret it and you deserve it!!!

Well here I am at the Belle and there you are at our home in Phoenix and Oh how very lucky we are!!!!!!!!!!!!  I woke up a few minutes ago thinking about our "True Texas Wedding" just over a year ago and made the decision that I must offer our magical day to others.  So I am going to my website and creating a clone of our day for others like us, who have discovered the "Love of their Life" and want a beginning that will uplift and sustain them through their journey together as our "Perfect Wedding Day" does us.  So when you read this, your next stop before your sunrise good morning phone call is to my website and "True Texas Weddings".

Love you forever....................................................................................................................................................................................and then some more!!

I am honored that you've taken the time to view my website and would love your comments.  Round Top is such a unique treasure, I look forward to sharing with you why it has recently been named one of the "100 Best Small Art Towns in America" and why were listed in "1000 Places You Must Visit Before You Die!"
