The Musical "Heart of the Tin Trunk" was a huge success! The Festival Hill symphony Hall was filled to capacity for 5 of the 6 performances and many of the authors dearest friends stayed here at the Belle with us.  We enjoyed them immensely and hope that this wonderful musical continues to tour this country to remind us all of our immigrant relatives who sacrificed so much so we could lead the lives of opportunity that we enjoy here in the United States.

Don't miss out on a symphony experience that you'll be telling all your friends about in a small Texas town that will capture your heart.

We had the MOST beautiful spring I've ever experienced here, be sure and look at the photos, however, they don't do it justice.  Think about booking for next springs display for your wedding or retreat!

We are enjoying the most spectacular spring wildflowers we've ever seen at the Belle.  There are millions surrounding us with the Indian Paintbrush taking center stage.  Now is the perfect time to bring your friends & family to stay and take photos in front of the Belle!

We are growing to accomodate groups of Crafters, Musicians and any other creative or family retreat.  We are building a 1500sf Carriage house addition that will be available by summer.  Come back to the website and see the page I'll be building to showcase the newest addition to the Belle and her beautiful 15 acres of rolling meadows!

"The Belle of Round Top" is an "1880's Antebellum inspired Victorian Mansion" located on 15 acres of Texas countryside. It is surrounded by luscious gardens and is exquisitely furnished with period antiques. The moment you pass through the doors you are transformed back to a time of gracious living and made to feel like a queen.

During our last visit, we welcomed the morning by sitting on the veranda in our pj's while we sipped hot tea or coffee and listened to all the birds sing their morning songs. But I can't fail to mention the sweet potato waffles with maple nut syrup, thick sliced peppered bacon, and fruit compote (after all, this is a B&B!).
During the afternoon, we strolled around the little town of Round Top, and later, visited an antique rose market where we purchased roses to plant on Sunday (Mothers Day) in honor and remembrance of our mothers.
Evenings were spent dining out or enjoying a scrumptious country meal, lovingly prepared by everyone (did I mention that "The Belle" has a BIG kitchen). We laughed and shared memories of our lives while we drank our yummy peach iced tea and wine in the wicker rockers on the veranda.
Each day ended (with a hot cup of tea or a bowl of Blue Bell ice cream) to experience the famous Texas sunsets. We all woke up the next morning rested, refreshed and looking forward to doing it all again.
I fully guarantee that you will arrive with all the stress and burdens of your busy lives but you will leave a different person!!!
If you've been thinking you needed some time with people who really 'get who you are and support you', this is the place! You will not regret it and you deserve it!!!
