Ginger & Spice Guestroom

Toile-fabric covered walls set this room out as unique in custom Victorian era decorating and beautifully accents the heart-pine floors that greet you as you enter this exquisite room with two antique full-sized beds.  Originally known as the 'strangers room'  it was the custom in the 1800's to provide quarters, outside the main house where possible, for anyone riding up on horseback.  Not only was it a gracious gesture, the news from other areas of Texas was welcome.  It is located at the rear of the house and has a separate entrance (with a handicap ramp) for convenience to the guest or guests that might like a longer stay at the Belle.  Fabulous room for girlfriend getaway or two people wanting to share a room with separate beds.  There is a full bath with shower just outside the bedroom door and is completely set apart by another door providing complete privacy in the home.  We would entertain renting this room out on a longer basis than a typical B and B stay.  Contact us and we'll discuss the details.
