Directions

Belle of Round Top Bed & Breakfast and Retreat Center is located 72 miles from Austin International airport and 93 miles from Houston Intercontinental Airport. When you arrive in Round Top the easiest way to arrive at the Belle is to look for the sign to the post office, it will be on East Mill St. Turn East and go exactly 1 mile and look up in the meadow to your right and you will see the Belle in the middle of 15 rolling acres.

Driving Directions From Houston

Come out 290 towards Austin. After you pass Burton (about 12 miles west of Brenham), exit on highway 237. Note: This is a left-hand exit. It is marked La Grange/Round Top. Head south on 237 about 8 miles to Round Top.

Driving Directions From Austin via 290

Come out 290 towards Houston. After you pass Ledbetter, you'll see a sign for Round Top Road (the road before it is Deer Haven Road). Turn right and follow the road into Round Top.

Driving Directions From Austin via 71

Come out 71 to La Grange. Exit at highway 159. Go left under 71, and head north on 159. Just past Oldenburg, 159 will meet 237. Continue heading straight on 237 (159 turns right to go to Fayetteville). Proceed north about 9 miles to Round Top.

Directions From San Antonio

The shortest route (shown below) from San Antonio involves Interstate 10 East to a turnoff near Schulenburg fo those unfamiliar with the area, are somewhat complicated. Please go to Mapquest to find map out the route for you.

Directions From Dallas / Fort Worth / Waco

From Dallas or Fort Worth, take I-35 south to Waco. The shortest route (shown below) from Waco involves Highway 77 south through Cameron to Giddings but the directions, especially for those not familiar with the area, are somewhat complicated. If you prefer that route, please go to MapQuest and select the shortest route from Waco to Round Top.

The simplest directions are to continue on I-35 toward Austin. Just north of central Austin turn onto Highway 290 East toward Houston, go through Elgin and Giddings, to Carmine. Go left at the green highway crossover sign.
